M&S has introduced the 2-metre Cascade Outdoor Christmas Tree, a garden decoration made from a tree-shaped frame of warm-white micro lights. The product is priced at £45 and is secured with a central stake and outer pegs; availability and other product specifications are not stated in the report.
M&S has introduced a two-metre outdoor Christmas tree made from cascading warm-white micro lights, offering shoppers a pre-lit garden decoration priced at £45. The Cascade Outdoor Christmas Tree is shaped to resemble a traditional tree and is fixed into the ground with a central stake and outer pegs, according to a report by Ideal Home.
The product differs from a conventional foliage tree: it is a lighted frame rather than a live or artificial tree with branches. Its strings of micro lights cascade down a structure designed to outline three branch tiers. The report says the LEDs give off a warm-white glow and that the tree is intended for outdoor use.
At two metres tall, the decoration is designed to stand in a garden as a single feature or as part of a group. Ideal Home suggests it could be placed in a front or back garden, including on a lawn or in a larger garden border. The report says buyers should check that soil in a border is firm enough to hold the tree securely.
The stated price is £45. Because the lights are already part of the structure, the tree does not require shoppers to add separate strings of lights, according to the article. The source does not provide details on power supply, lighting settings, weather-resistance rating, assembly, delivery, or whether the item is currently in stock.
A Pre-Lit Feature for Garden Displays
The Cascade gives shoppers an alternative to decorating a natural or artificial tree outdoors: it combines a tree-shaped structure and lighting in one product. That could make it a simpler option for people seeking seasonal garden lighting without putting lights on branches themselves. At £45, it also sets a clear price point for a large outdoor decoration, though the source does not compare it with other products on a like-for-like basis.
Its two-metre height may make it visible from nearby paths or streets when placed in a front garden, while a backyard location could make it a focal point for an outdoor display. Those are practical possibilities rather than guaranteed results; visibility will depend on placement, surroundings and ambient light. The product’s suitability for a particular garden also depends on whether the ground can support its stake-and-peg fixing.

How the Cascade Tree Is Designed
Ideal Home describes the Cascade as a modern alternative to traditional foliage Christmas trees. Rather than needles, branches and ornaments, its outline is created by lights descending from the top of a frame. The article presents it as a ready-lit decoration that can be displayed without adding separate tree lighting.
The report also mentions other outdoor Christmas lights, including star-shaped decorations, illuminated path branches and icicle lights. These are examples of other products in the article, not components included with the M&S tree. No launch date, sales figures or information about previous M&S versions is provided, so the item’s wider commercial performance cannot be assessed from the source.

Product Details Still Missing
The source gives the product’s price, height, lighting style and ground fixing, but leaves several practical details unanswered. It does not say how the lights are powered, whether they have different modes or a timer, how much assembly is needed, or what weather conditions the tree is rated to withstand.
It is also unclear from the report whether the item is available in every M&S sales channel, whether it can be ordered for delivery, or whether stock is limited. Readers should check the current M&S product listing for availability, full specifications and any care or installation instructions. The article’s positive descriptions of the display are editorial assessments rather than independently measured performance claims.
Check Stock and Installation Guidance
Shoppers interested in the Cascade can check M&S’s current listing for availability and full product information before buying. The report does not identify a scheduled restock, further product announcement or sales milestone. Before installation, buyers will need to follow the supplied instructions and confirm that the chosen spot can hold the stake and pegs securely, particularly if placing the tree in a border rather than on a lawn.
